Proxima Fleet Captain
Buildings:
Terraformer
Scout
Weak Fragment
Raider
Shield Generator
Strong Fragment
Proxima Gaurdian
Engine Fragment
Cultivator
Gravity Controller
Proxima Ancient
Pure Fragment
Proxima Protector
Storyline:
The Proxima home planet, Proxima Prime, is dying, it's gravitational field weakened by the dangerous sciences delved into for their potential use in interstellar travel. A group of Scouts and Terraformers embarked on a journey to find a new world with sufficient resources to begin anew. The last thing the Proxima Leader remembered was their ship being caught in the field of a black hole, and even the gravity manipulating technology of their engines was too weak for them to escape it's pull. The shield generators failed, but the Gravitational Controller may have been what stopped the hole from crushing them. Their ship crash landed off the shores of a strange Island on an uncharted planet, their scanners unresponsive to this new environment. The Leader had no choice but to send out the remaining Terraformers to make at least this small Island capable of sustaining them. The Island's inhabitants, however, were not kind to these strange creatures who poison their land, unleashing magical forces capable of crushing the weak Terraformers with ease. The Proxima Leader encountered some primitive beings who had come to the Island seeking treasures and artifacts and grudgingly formed an alliance of convenience
Other Details:
250 total Sulfer when maxed (Total attack speed increase = 125%)
Please look at tower attack rates and make some suggestions (increase/decrease Sulfer total or specific towers).
NOTE: Fragments, Terraformers and Cultivators do not benefit from the increase, as they are not Proxima, they are machines/relics
Some info on the race, basic concept, etc:
Food will not be what this race needs to live, and will not have a population building. The Proxima are an Arsenic based life-form who do not breath oxygen, it is in fact poisonous to them. Instead, they need Sulfur to survive and support higher life-forms.
The basic tower will be the Terraformer, introducing Sulfur to the area around itself, able to support a
single Proxima each
Parts of the ship that have been found near the shores of the island can also be built for additional Sulfur production to support better towers.
Note: The race will start with 1 food! (see terraformer tower)
The aim of the limit on Terraformers is to cap this race at 55 food until late game when the upgrade can allow for 65 food (maybe increased to 70?)

Re: Proxima Fleet Captain
I think you might have changed some things by accident, I'll just edit quick (8 generators? Sure I made it 3 max o.O)

Re: Proxima Fleet Captain
Even on the previous forum there was no limit
And there had to have a limit on those. So thought 8 was the max GFx TTW could handle.
Edit: In any case, I like this race... May need some balancing though.
Just BTW, is it really necessary for the Proxima Ancient to have 2700 range (The highest in the game) and then spoil it with 200 line damage :? Not quite sure how they work together.

Re: Proxima Fleet Captain
Well basically the ancient is based on painter's turtles. The range is to keep a sas or jungle out of the maze with serenity, and the 200 line damage is to hit creeps as they run from the river toward the maze entrance (in single file). What you think? Obviously it will need balancing, but that shouldn't be too hard considering tidals from PG in 5.47

Re: Proxima Fleet Captain
This race seems really cool I quite like the crazy 2700 range thing Gonna need supa uber balancing, but then again, doesn't eveything? Well done, and good job and the likes of that
Re: Proxima Fleet Captain
I think the 2700 range is an excellent idea, but maybe you might want to consider making its base attack speed maybe around 3.00(s) ? Cause sure enough its damage is not bad, its line damage effect is great, but if you had to, currently with its attack speed of 2.4(s), put it in Weak Barrier's radius, halving its attack speed to 1.2(s), and then managing to max sulfer, adding another 125% attack speed, it would attack far to fast
But omg I love the concept of this race, especially how the towers rely on each other to be able to get better attack speed. So in-depth

Re: Proxima Fleet Captain
That would be roughly 0.5s cooldown on attack, which isn't really that fast. The Ancient is meant to be the main ulti tower for this builder alongside the Protector, and requires specific placement as well as a lot of other gold spent for other towers first, so I think it would balance out fine. Obviously if this builder got implemented it would be balance tested quite extensively

Re: Proxima Fleet Captain
Yeah. I think the race's abilities and so on overall may SEEM really gay, but take into consideration the heavy costs on the buildings, and it becomes fairly understandable.
