Read the 3 following posts to get rid of those ad-bars.

My original Apology;
You have to understand that this forum is considered a 'free forum'. The only way that the host (Forumotion) is able to maintain this is by placing advertisements in the forums that it hosts.
(You may notice that there is one hovering underneath the menu bar.)

The reasoning behind the free forum route;
TTW through its existance has had several forums. The previous forum was costly to maintain, which was the primary reason for it not being renewed (And hence expiring).

With this being said however, I feel that I have to apologise for this Ad-bar - since is it rather unpleasant. There is an option to reduce the amount of Ads that are shown and obviously it has been implemented (That is why there is only the singular one under the menu bar.)

After working on the forum for a while, I've noticed that there are a few, perhaps, vulgar ones that do apparently stand out from the rest. No offence was meant in and/or by them, as we cannot choose which adverts are shown.

Please try to take no offence to them, but if there is a particularly offensive advertisement (which seriously is unacceptable) please either post a complaint with the advertisement picture and I (or another Administrator, if I am not available) will try to take up the matter with Forumotion.

Regards; H3katonkheir

That worked amazingly thanks TeBB Smile!
After installation, go to 'Options', click on the tab; 'Add your own filters', and input http://content.yieldmanager.edgesuite.net/

You have no more advertising on this site
(Or any other if you so wish).

Actually I reckon the best subscription filter would be the default that Adblock recommends, namely: "https://easylist-downloads.adblockplus.org/easylist.txt"

Adblock is also available for Google Chrome users:
1) https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidom or,
2) http://www.chromeextensions.org/appearance-functioning/adblock/

Additionally, if you aren't on a real browser (i.e, you're on IE, no pun intended), here are your options:
1) Add the filters (via bulk functionality) that Firefox Adblock Plus uses, to IE - http://www.vista4beginners.com/AdBlock-Plus-Filters-Internet-Explorer-8
2) Download a separate add-on for IE (this seems to be the best one, I have tested it and its working) - http://simple-adblock.com/

My 5cents on this: The Firefox extension "NoScript" works too for blocking ads, but its not as good as adblockplus. But you have the advantage that NoScript ads extra security by blocking HTML-scripts. NoScript instantly blocks them first, but you can allow them and tell NoScript to save the setting, you can only temporarily allow a script too. With this you can allow only scripts that are really needed, and block all the unneccesary rest.

Most malicous malware need HTML-scripts to infect your computer. Works against most ads too(not all).
