I have the same feeling actually.
Evolution helper is the one with the cells. Which become organisms. Like A TREE or a turtle.
Effect Master is the one in which every tower has it's own effect poison, frost, etc. The one with Critical Caroline you pointed out. (dumbest explanation EVAR )

Sharezta, you need to learn the mastery of the Evo, dude It's like the most awsome race ever, even though, I will agree, it does need a few tweaks here and there, it's still an epic, epic race, just like the Painter man (Who I reckon needs a remake to a few of his dumb a** towers)

Evo only needs a slight mid-game buff. Cactus is good, but not long lasting enough. Trees are one of the strongest mass towers, but the midgame evo lacks income to achieve this easily.

Also I agree that painter needs a couple tweaks, but overall I find them rather balanced if u know what ur doing, better scaling than centaurs at least (coming from the player possibly to have randomed centaurs most of all)
